My New Year ...In HD!!!

So Friday is the beginning of a New Year.
The time to reflect and look forward.
I make at least one resolution each year. For 2010.. I have quite a few.

I am going to loose at least 25 lbs.
Seriously!! Since my injury in August I have gained alot!!
I don't eat any more but I am not burning any calories.
Soooo I will be on the "D" word.

Organize my house is next on the list.
I want to revamp my entire house.

Major one here..
Stop smoking.
My terrible habit. I have only been smoking for a few years but I must quit.
This will be the hardest. But I am determined to do it.
So if you see 6 post in one day..just know that I am blogging my way through a craving. lol.

 And Most importantly..
Rededicate my life to the Lord. Fully emerge myself in his glory.
So as you can see my resolutions are in HD!!!
They are biggies but not impossible.
" I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me."
So... What are your resolutions???
Have a blessed and Happy New Year from
Six Divided By Two.

  1. Best of luck with your resoltions - you can do them, I know.

I don't make resolutions for New Year's - just go from one goal to another.

  2. Good luck to you on your resolutions... if I see six posts in one day, I will comment on each one... "I got your back", remember??? xoxo Julie Marie

  3. Sounds like a great plan! Mine is to become a gentler person. I care a lot about people, but I talk a lot without thinking and try to protect myself so much that I think people sometimes take what I say the wrong way.

  4. Great resolutions, esp. the smoking one. Quitting was the best thing I ever did, even thogh I had to fall pregnant to find a good enough reason to do so!

  5. Hey Misty, girl, you are totally rolling here. I'm in your corner! I'm just soooo glad I've gotten to know you this year. Love your scripture. Hang on to that one, it will see you through!
Hugs and blessings for a great New Year!

  6. I just want to find Malisa again...she has been lost for several years.

  7. Your off to a great start already you joined my site. lol
Thanks for finding me I am looking forward to following you and keeping you in line with your resolutions. Don't make me post a post about you not doing them. Seriously I need to do all of these with except smoking. Dr Pepper is my bad habit.
    Ok we can do this

  8. I will be sending you good thoughts and reminding God to help you out...I have some of the same ones on my list....

  9. I love the sign! Misty, I know you will be succsesful! I have faith in you!
    Happy New Year!
    smiles, alice

  10. I bet when you do the last one all the others will fall into place with no effort. Wonderful list and totally doable!

  11. Good luck, I have heard the smoking is a tough one. My husband is tackling that one too. Happy New Year.

  12. Wishes and prayers for strength of mind, body and soul for you in the new year. You'll work it out with lots of blogger support and from the man up above. Hugs of encouragement! Carol

  13. May our Father in Heaven guide you through this year!

  14. Wonderful new years resolutions!! I haven't made any yet, but need to do some thinking on that too.

  15. I have a long list, too many to mention. I'm confident you can do your resolutions you've listed. The last one is my fav and on my list too! Happy New Years to you!

  16. Hi Misty. I just wanted to stop by and visit you and Angelique. I was going over the prayer list on Debra's A Day In The Life in bed (I always print her posts and then read them during my quite time). I just was urged to let you both know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you. It looks like you've got a great list going for 2010. Congrats for deciding to stop smoking. You're blog page is really pretty. I hope to get to know you and your sister better this year.

I'm praying for you and that all the comfort that need is provided by our loving Lord and his angels who watch over you.

God bless you and I'm wishing you only the best in the New Year. Hugs...Tracy :)

Sit, have a cup of tea and let's chat for a while....
