My 100th post and counting....

This is my 100th post !!!

WOW.. that went by quickly!!! 

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support as I recoup.

I can now bend my knee but I still walk funny. I kinda waddle like a duck. You can stop snickering at me now...lol.

But while I have been out I have been working on some things that really needed to be taken care of.

I will post about those later today.

But I have been watching from the wings.

(Did you think that I could just go cold turkey??)

I was reading my dear friend Julie Marie of Idllyhours

posted this great post ,"I refuse to be a stepford wife!"

I was sooo caught up in her post that my girls truly believed I had "caught the holy ghost".

"Amens!" were flying out of my mouth like I was sitting on the front pew of my church! 

So upon talking to my beautiful and terribly creative sis, we came up with this:

This is our award...it is to acknowledge all my bloggy divas who think outside the box and cherish individuality!!

Basically, you do you and don't give a damn what others think.

 Yesterday I was given a true honor

I am soo touched. My bloggy sister Cat from Writing Out Loud

Now it is my turn to pay it forward.

She inspires me beyond words. Not to mention she is stunningly beautiful.

Have you seen her beautiful daughter? It must be in the genes - and shirts. LOL.

Ok I am a little bias but she is truly chic at it's finest.

Hmmmm let's see.... ok here we go!

1: I have an amazing other half. My twin sister Angelique.

She is the blog diva of Six in one hand.

2. I am a mother of two girls. Morgan 15 and Taylor 12.

I have teenagers ( please pray for me..)

3. I oil paint, dance(praise dance is my favorite),sing,  and I studied piano for 9 years.

My mamma wanted us to have a talent.

4. I looooovve Black Americana!!

I once swapped a tag to $20 from $75 for a mammy butterchurn.

The owner tried to pass it off as an antique- it is a replica...lol.

5.I do a mean impersonation of the Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz.

6. I love flea markets and junk sales.

It is my favorite date to go on with my hubby.

7.I am in love with Waverly and barefoot roses.

I want my casket lined with them. No... seriously.

And a matching gown. lol

8. I am facing Breast cancer..

oh no tears.. If they have to take the twins I can wear tube tops again.

9.My mamma and my sister are my BFFs!!!

I have other friends but these are my girls!!!
