Ladies and Gentleman... INTRODUCING............

See this very handsome young man? That is my nephew Alexander. He is 17 and a senior in high school and has a passion for photographry. I love this young man like a son. He is my heart. Recently, my camera died in it's sleep. Just would not wake up- passed away quietly.* Sniff Sniff.* I'll be ok. I just need a little time to grieve before I go get a new one. So, I asked my dashing nephew if I could use his very very precious (and expensive) camera. He said yes. I handled it like a newborn, as delicate as I know how.  As I was reviewing my pics I noticed his. I was impressed. Granted he is a novice but these were pretty good.  I was so impressed that he is going to do my family's Christmas photo shoot and is now the featured photographer for Six Divided By Two.  So without further adieu.........(drum roll as the curtain parts..)

This is his sidekick and "daughter" Nizeumi.
(It means little mouse in Japanese)
If he lives to be 100, he will neeever find a woman who is more loyal or loves him more than she does.

So here he is... Alexander Price. Look for him in the future- He is going to go far.  I expect nothing less.

  1. Your nephew has a real talent for photography. I "met" your nephew Alexander on your sister's blog a while back. I told her we had a lot of similarities with our boys....I have a son Alex who is a Senior in high school and has a passion for photography too. He is currently photo editor for his high school's yearbook. And my sister and her family are coming from Dallas to my house this year for Thanksgiving and she has asked Alex to take her Christmas family photos! Isn't it nice to have talent in the family?! Hope you're doing well.

  2. What a handsome young nephew you have. Love his little mouse-girl she's a cutie. He's so blessed to have an aunt who his in his corner and such a supporter. His photography is fabulous, I would say he will do well in that area.
Just read your post about you two going to M.D. Anderson. You may have cancer, Misty, but it doesn't "have you"! I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers. If you haven't come by my Bible Study (a day in the life) on my side bar, please do. I'd love to have you! Bring Angelique along too.
Blessings dear, so glad you came by I'm sending "bloggy love" your way, too!

  4. Dern Girl, I hate that you have breast cancer too. Are you triple negative too and getting chemo before surgery? I do chemo every Friday. My chemo doc is Dr. Amal MELHEM-BERTRANDT and my surgeon will be Dr. Fieg but that won't be until April. My email is thetexaswoman@gmail.com if you want to compare notes. I'm real weak right now and can't concentrate well at all but I'd love to be there for you and you me as breast friends!
