White Wednesdays and Giveaways ....Wooohooo!!!!

Whenever I think of the color white I think of First Sundays.
If you are looking at me sideways wondering, " huh?" - Let me explain.
First Sunday is Communion Sunday. When I was a little girl the ladies and girls wore white on First Sunday.
That is one of my favorite memories. Angelique, myself, and our best friend, Sheree would be dressed in white from head to foot- even in the winter. We did this for many years.

I guess my church upbringing has led to my love for churches..

and all that it stands for.

(This is my daughter Morgan praise dancing at our church)

We began wearing our white at an early age..

and I even passed it on to my daughters.
(These are my daughter Taylor's shoes. I found them in my great-grandmother's trunk the other day.
I put them there years ago .)

But I guess the ultimate white dress is this one... I can't wait to get mine.

P.S. Did you hear the music? That is the lovely Whitney Houston. I love this song. It represents where I have been and and where I pray to go.
